LUCINDA DEVLIN is a photographer based in Michigan in the midwestern United States.
Inspired by nature, his works are portrayed in dry and calm colors, influenced by growing up surrounded by rural landscapes.
Lake Pictures shot one of the Great Lakes, HURON LAKE, in the same location, during the four seasons, and at different times of day and night.
It shows the changing atmospheric properties of the lake through the prisms of water, sky, color, light, place, space and time.
Looking at the gigantic lake and the sky, both seem endless at first, and only the subtle horizon between them draws us into each picture, as if they stretched out into the distance forever.
The expansive view of the lake reminds us that it is just an interesting visual fiction.
